One Dress Three Ways* | #DressUpWithGeorge

April 6, 2015

The other week I was invited to take part in a challenge by George at Adsa. The task was to take one summer dress from their collection and wear it three different ways for three different occasions. I love a challenge and I do love to wear dresses so I jumped at the chance to take part!

I picked this Red Bardot Fit and Flare Dress*, although when it arrived it wasn’t very red, it’s more of a pink. This did lead to some changes to the outfits, but with a couple of summer weddings to attend this year I think it fits the bill better for the occasion than a deep red would! It’s also a fit that I wouldn’t normally wear, but I think it looks good!

My first outfit is my Weekend Afternoon Tea outfit.

I teamed the dress with my wonderful crepe duster coat, which I’m gutted is probably a bit cold to wear just yet! But I think the bold pattern goes well with the simple coloured dress. The look is finished off with tan slip ons for simplicity. I can’t wait for summery afternoon tea dates with Mr W.

My second outfit is my Wedding Guest outfit.

I teamed the dress with heels and a clutch bag. Most of the weddings I am attending this year are in the summer so I haven’t worried too much about a jacket, but I would probably wear it with my patterned kimono in the evening.

My third and probably favourite outfit is my Girly Night Out outfit.

The dress is wonderfully girly and twirly, in fact I’d be tempted to get a petticoat to bulk it out underneath, but sadly I don’t have one. For the night though, I have chosen to wear it with my leather jacket, satchel and my sky high sparkly heels. I think this a great outfit for cocktails in Manchester! I just need to organise an excuse to wear it now…

So I’ve told you my favourite outfit, what’s yours? Let me know in the comments,

Gorge dress!! I love the “Wedding outfit” look. I bet it would look cool with a denim jacket thrown over it too and little white pumps! LOVE xx

I think the dress itself is in such a stunning colour that wearing it alone is great! But, i like the bohemian flair in the first look when you pair it with a patterned duster coat 🙂

Thank you 🙂 I always get so nervous about outfit posts! They have the dress in other colours too, I’m seriously tempted by the yellow one 🙂 x

I have a similar dress from H&M, in yellow, I’ve worn it to a wedding and a christening, I’ve never thought to dress it down casually for girls nights out, or afternoon tea. I think I might now. x
