Getting Cosy this Winter with S’no Queen | + Giveaway!

November 15, 2017

When S’No Queen approached me to try out their fashionable thermals, I was a bit dubious. Being a keen hiker I’m used to pretty kit not being very practical. So I thought I’d put it through its paces!

S’No Queen are approaching the winter sports market with cute designs, gorgeous colours and a bit of bling. Their high end thermals promise not only style, but comfort and most importantly they promise to keep you warm! So on a recent very chilly hike I tested this out.

Dr W and I set off for a very windy and rather chilly walk on the Malvern Hills. Instead of my usual base layer I wore my S’No Queen long sleeve instead, in a wonderful limited edition turquoise. Even Dr W complimented the colour – Quite different to my usual dark thermals!

Throughout the walk I was dead impressed with not only how warm I was, only needing to add extra layers when it started to rain. I was seriously cosy! The top was also really wicking so I kept dry too. I was also sent some thermal leggings but it’s been a bit warm for them. But we’re off to Scotland over winter and I think they’ll get a try out when we go Munro bagging.

So yeah, S’No Queen have proved style and practicality can occur for winter sports. Keeping warm is so important, especially when mountaineering. I’m actually so impressed I’ve purchased a hooded thermal top too. However, if you fancy winning your own limited edition S’No Queen thermals, check out the competition below!

I love the detail on the sleeves. I would wear the thermals with my trusty walking trousers and boots

At first glance I thought these wouldn’t be of any use to me, but you know what – I’ve got fibromyalgia and I’m almost always cold. So actually, these could be a bit of a godsend! Would love to try them myself.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and have to keep my extremities warm or the pain is unbearable. I’ve been living in the long sleeve since I got it and my arms are perfectly happy!

Oh they look really good! I do a bit of walking and running on the coastal path round here and I could do with something nice to wear for it.
