It’s been unseasonably warm this last week or so, but earlier this month it was a bit nippy up north and thankfully Outdoor and Country sent me a wonderful hat to keep me warm. I just hope the colder weather comes back again so I can wear it more…
I’m usually anti-hat, when I had a bob I’d look bald/silly if I wore one, but now my hair is a little longer it looks so much better! I decided to team my Barbour Sub Knit Hat from Outdoor and Country (in huckleberry) with my new Barbour Seafarer jacket I treated myself too when we were away. Personally I am all for bright colours in winter, otherwise the dreary days feel drearier. The added addition of my bright red Hunter wellies help keep my feet dry and complete the outfit too.
I rather like my new hat, it’s such a cute colour and wonderfully warm. And whilst this may not be the most glamorous outfit I’ve ever worn, it’s a practical outfit for these rainy/wintery days we’re having a lot of at the moment! And of course the perfect outfit for Sunday and Bank Holiday walks in the countryside (that of course finish in a pub). So when we go off on our Boxing Day and New Year’s Day walks, you all know what I’ll be wearing!
What’s your go to winter outfit? How do you keep warm? Let me know in the comments,
P.S. * Received from Outdoor and Country, as ever all opinions my own.
