I’m struggling to get back into running (again!) I swear it’s a constant cycle between love and hate at the moment. To help get back into it I’ve put together a Summer Workout Playlist full of some completely different song choices compared to my usual metal! Here are just a few of the songs that feature on my playlist…
Ok so I am not a Taylor fan. I do not own any albums, just this one song, as I don’t really like the rest of her stuff… But Shake It Off is so annoyingly catchy and bouncy it had to feature on my Summer Workout playlist. I blame the constant stream of Radio 1 in the lab at work for me liking this song.
We need to blame Charlie, Mark and Emma for influencing my obsession with RuPaul’s Drag Race. This RuPaul song is a firm favourite and could not be missed off my Summer Workout playlist, it’s just so catchy! Other RuPaul songs also feature on the complete playlist!
This song is awful, but also awesome. Can you see a theme here? I’ve gone for cheese in my Summer Workout Playlist, but I think cheese works. The high tempo and catchy lyrics have people staring at me as a sing along (badly) as I run and given the crappy weather we’ve had recently, they bring a bit of sunshine to my workout!
