It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to update you all on life! As usual it’s a busy one for me…
Somehow Dr W and have booked our weekends solidly until the end of September. Madness. But we do have lots of exciting things planned, many of which I’m sure I’ll be sharing in future posts! But before that, why not check out what we’ve been up to!
Night’s In with Dr W
So as I said, we’ve been making loads of plans lately. Therefore time with each other is very precious at the moment. We’ve managed to sneak in a few lazy evenings in with GoT and Rick & Morty episodes to watch. Last week I made hot dogs with this wonderful Berlin 49 Hot Sauce from Cheeky Boy Sauces. Dr W especially loved this, as he said it reminded him of the spicy curry würst sauces you can get. A real winner. We also have their Lime & Ginger sauce to try, which we will when I make fajitas later this week!
Dr C’s About Page
So you’ll have seen a fair few blogs written by the above wonderful lady Dr C. She has kindly agreed to be a guest blogger for me covering all things Northern. As she’s covered a lot for me lately we made her an About Page. Go check it out and find out all about my wonderful friend!
New Blogging Friends
It’s taken me a year or so to settle into blog life down south and I hadn’t really met many people until recently. It all started with embracing meeting new people at my Brum Blogger Blind Date. But I’ve also met the lovely Laura and George lately, having much fun at cocktail making events and eating all you can eat pizza at Rub Smokehouse.
Worcester Cathedral Square Opening
I grew up in Worcester (well the main childhood/teenage years) and it was always very boring as a kid! But now we’ve moved back and the city seems to have moved on a fair bit. The wonderful Cathedral Square has opened. I checked out Hotel Chocolat earlier this summer. But last week I was invited down to check out YO! Sushi. Dr W and I got to go to a cookery demo, which was very interesting! I’ll be sharing more about this next week.
I’ve been enjoying a fair bit of baking lately. My Kenwood kMix has been making it a lot more easier to bake. My favourite bake, which I have been requested to bake again, are my S’mores and Bahlsen Brownies. So easy and so tasty!
What have you been up to lately? Let me know in the comments,
P.S. Contains PR Samples.
