There was a time when my iPad went everywhere with me. I didn’t have a laptop and it was a useful blogging tool. But then my work life changed and it was a bit redundant and stayed at home on a bookshelf. But recently, thanks to my iPad beanbag it’s been getting an outing again.
The wonderful Izabela Peters iPad beanbag, which not only is super cute (look at the foxes!) is also super useful! Another reason for not using my iPad so much anymore was because it is quite heavy and it hurts my joints after a while. But now using the iPad beanbag to prop up I am quite happy to use it a lot more.
I still do a lot of my blog stuff away from my laptop. I use my Dot Creates Blog Planner and draft out posts in the WordPress app. It’s such an easy way to get my ideas planned and words down before later editing on my laptop. I can use my iPad beanbag to prop up my iPad so I can view my editorial calendar whilst jotting my ideas on paper. It also means I can blog comfortably in bed – living the dream right?!
Obviously being a food blogger and ultimately a very forgetful person means I’m often googling my own recipes… to save my phone from being dropped in my cooking, propping up recipes on my iPad obviously works well here. I also use Evernote when planning and coming up with recipes, so it means I can have that open to make doodles on with my stylus. Useful for if I want to make notes for changing recipes or scribble on one I’ve already penned on my iPad!
Of course I couldn’t write this post without mentioning my Netflix addiction. Watching all of Friends in a month was an achievement I feel… We’ve also recently just finished Altered Carbon, which I quite enjoyed. But ultimately Netflix is for watching rubbish in bed, more recently Storm Chasers (lol). The iPad beanbag bags I can have more pillows for myself rather than using them to prop up my ipad… I pretty much live in a pillow fort in bed..!
Do you use a tablet at all? Would you use an iPad beanbag? Let me know in the comments,
