Fuelling Our Condiments Addiction Further with Tracklements

July 25, 2018

When we moved into our house, we bought ourselves a huge fridge. Little did we know the second shelf down was going to become our condiments shelf. Full to the brim with all sorts, but more recently some lovely condiments from Tracklements.

Tracklements* are a lovely brand based in Wiltshire. Making over 60 artisan condiments. All of their condiments are made with the highest quality, natural ingredients and are handmade in small batches. We were recently sent a range of their condiments to try out. So I got to work thinking about how we could use some of them.

Saturday Brunch

As you all know I am a huge brunch fan. In fact, spoiler alert, I already loved the Tracklements Fresh Chilli Jam*. I’ve used it before in this Halloumi Burger after discovering it on the shelf at our local Waitrose. But this time it was a post Parkrun brunch that it was the shining star of. We melted cheese onto croissants, then assembled with ham, avocado and chilli jam. Divine!

Time for the BBQ

This weekend, with the glorious weather we had on Sunday, we couldn’t not BBQ! We had some of our good friends round, who also enjoy cooking so we all made a dish for the BBQ. I made these amazing Turmeric Marinated Chicken Skewers. Another Rick Stein recipe that was a real winner. It went perfectly with the Tracklements Thai Spice Jelly*. The warming spice from the skewers worked really well with the sweetness of the jelly.

A Hearty Dinner

There was one murky evening in Worcester, where it threatened rain but it didn’t happen. That evening I decided to make a nice comforting dinner. Homemade chips, BBQ beans and honey mustard sausages. I mixed 3 tbsp of honey with 1 tbsp of the Tracklements Spitfire Mustard and coated it on sausages 5 minutes before the end of their cooking time. I then left them on the side to cool a bit and the mustard got sticky. This really was a super tasty dinner and a great different way to use a condiment in every day cooking.

Have you tried Tracklements condiments? Which of my meal ideas do you like most? Let me know in the comments,

It really is the best chilli jam if we don’t count the homemade stuff my aunty does.

This looks REALLY good. I’ve not heard of them before but I love the way you pair them with so many different things. Great read.
