Party Season Cocktails with Fentimans | Recipes

December 14, 2016

The festive party season is the perfect time to hold a party and enjoy a few drinks with friends. Today I’m sharing some ideas for simple cocktails with Fentimans mixers.

Fentimans released a new range of 500ml mixers earlier this year. The range includes mixers that can go with all sorts of spirits. I’ve mainly focussed on gin (you know gin is my fave). But as Mr W is a rum lover I’ve shared a rum recipe too. The best thing about these recipes is that they’re all easy to make and won’t take long at all. No faffing here!

Party Season Cocktails Fentimans

Festive Fentimans Fizz Cocktail

First off lets get fruity with my Fentimans Festive Fizz. Using blackberry liqueur picked up at our locals farmers market and Fentimans Bitter Lemon it’s a wonderfully fruity affair.

  • 50 ml Gin (a more botanical one is preferable, I used Rock Rose)
  • 20 ml Blackberry Liqueuer
  • Fentimans Bitter Lemonade
  • Ice
  • Lemon and berries to serve

Fill the glass with ice, pour in the gin and blackberry liquer. Muddle with a bar spoon and top with the Fentimans Bitter Lemonade. Garnish with the fruit and enjoy!

Fentimans Cocktails Zesty Grapefruit Collins

Next up is something quite refreshing, a take on a sea breeze, but instead of vodka I’ve added gin into the mix. It does work with vodka should you prefer over gin, but gin is best. This is my Zesty Grapefruit Collins.

  • 50 ml Gin (A dry gin is good here, I used Bulldog)
  • 25 ml Sugar syrup
  • 25 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Fentimans Pink Grapefruit Tonic
  • Ice
  • Slices of lime and grapefruit to serve

Fill the glass with ice. Pour in the gin and lime juice, then top with Fentimans Pink Grapefruit Tonic. Garnish with the fruit and enjoy!

Fentimans Fruity Winter Warmer

Lastly, the rum. This is admittedly quite a sweet cocktail, but also has a bit of a kick with the ginger. My Fruity Winter Warmer might just be too good to share…

  • 50 ml Dark spiced rum (Kraken for us)
  • 50 ml Apple juice (I used cloudy apple)
  • 25 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Fentimans Ginger Beer Muddled with Lime
  • Ice
  • Apple slices

Fill the glass with ice. Pour in the rum, lime juice and apple juice, and stir with a bar spoon. Top with Fentimans Ginger Beer Muddled with Lime and serve with apple slices.

I hope you enjoy my tasty cocktails if you make them. What’s your favourite party cocktail? What cocktail will you be making for your guests this party season? Let me know in the comments,

P.S. Fentimans sent me a hamper of mixers to help me create my cocktails. As ever all photos, words and opinions are my own.
