Lunchtime Hacks with Walkers Tear ‘n’ Share

April 11, 2016

Everyone’s lives are getting busier and busier, I work crazy hours and have started some new routines and life hacks to keep me on top of everything. However, Walkers new Tear ‘n’ Share crisps make your night off a bit more easier!

Walkers new Tear ‘n’ Share crisps are a delicious, thicker cut crisp with a great taste and more like the other big share packet crisps on the market. However, these new Walkers are in a unique bag that turns into a bowl, so you can tear open and share with friends and family. No need for any life hacks here or messy moments trying to tear up a normal bag!

Unlike these new Walkers we sometimes need a life hack and they have asked me to share a life hack of mine with you, so I thought I’d show you my lunchtime hack. You may have seen noodle jars on Pinterest, but a favourite of mine is cous cous salad in a jar. All you need to do is prep it the night before, then just add boiling water at work for a wonderful warm salad for lunch.

Lunch Time Hacks

Hopefully you find my lunchtime idea useful, I know you could cook your cous cous in advance, but not everyone has the time to do it the night before and I don’t like to carry it in still warm to work. I just find it so much easier this way.

I also have some other kitchen hacks that may save you time for the future, try making extra curry paste and then freezing into usable portions for next time. This is useful for most types of curry! Also if you get smelly fingers from cutting onions/garlic/fish use cold water instead of hot and lemon juice to get the nasty cooking smells off your hands.

What are your life hacks? Have you tried the new Walkers Tear ‘n’ Share? Let me know in the comments,

P.S. Walkers sent me some of their crisps to try and compensated me for my time in writing this post. As always, I wasn’t expected to write a positive review and all views expressed are my own personal opinions.

The cous cous jar looks so yummy and I’ve been looking for some different recipes to take to work with me so will definitely have to try this one out! I do like the new Walkers’ crisps, they’ve made them so much thicker now which gives them a nice crunch. – Tasha

I really like the tear n share but can’t help but feel the bag is a bit of a letdown. It’s not that different to a regular large bag in reality. That said I love the look of your cous cous jar so I’ll be trying that over the next few days!

It definitely is easier for sharing, I just prefer the crunchiness of the normal flavours to be honest!

I’d never be able to close the bag of crisps – would just eat the whole thing. That’s a clever idea with the cous cous – will definitely need to try this out 🙂 love bec xx

Haha! This is genius!? The amount of times we’ve had a bag of crisps splayed open on a pub table with friends… This is SO much easier?! And your salad jar looks yummy too! xx
