Second Breakfast with EasiYo Yogurt Maker

July 31, 2017

I get up fairly early for work, which means I’m often hungry before lunch. I try to keep it healthy when I do my second breakfast. Recently I’ve been enjoying yogurt from my EasiYo Yogurt Maker.

I’d been kinda sceptical of the EasiYo Yogurt Maker after seeing it on the Apprentice years ago. But I thought I would give it a fair try. EasiYo Yogurt has no artificial colours or flavours and promises to be very easy to make, which it definitely is. There are just three steps, explained on the back of each yogurt sachet. I got a range of flavours to try, however, my favourite definitely ended up being the Raspberry!

EasiYo Yogurt Maker Review

I really am a hobbit. Minus the hairy feet! Second breakfast is a daily occurrence for me and keeps me going until my usually late lunch time. Often around 10:30 am I’ll lock my computer, make a brew and enjoy a bowl of yogurt and fresh fruit. I’m a huge fan of raspberries and blueberries as an addition to my second breakfast!

EasiYo make it easy with the three steps, your yogurt is ready in 8 hours. You then pop it in the fridge and it can keep for over a week. There’s so many different flavours and varieties. It took me a couple of attempts (which were still yummy) to get the thickness how I like it. The first I made was a little runny but I seem to have nailed it now. I’ve actually just made some up for next week, coconut greek yogurt, can’t wait to try it out.

I’m going to sound so silly but I didn’t think yogurt was the type of thing you could easily make at home. I either find shop bought stuff either too bitter or too sweet – no in between, so this sounds like it could be good to regulate the sweetness I’m guessing. Having said that I’m the kind of gal to eat a full tub of Onken rather than eat a normal amount for breakfast haha!

This is really interesting! I’ve wondered how this worked, great to see it in action 🙂 I’m always up early too and find second breakfasts tricky to nail, always on the lookout for new ideas x

I’ve always wanted to try one of these! I often embrace second breakfast as during the workweek my first meal is around 5.30am.
