Summer Picnic with Paul Bakery | Review

September 6, 2017

Paul Bakery have made it even easier for you when the sudden urge to have a picnic occurs. No faff, no hassle, just pick up your picnic in store!

Ok, so we may have decided on an indoor picnic in the end (the weather was not on our side). But we made the most of our picnic from Paul Bakery. I really did love the red and white table cloth provided, it made the picnic feel way more Parisian. It’s also going to be very useful for our next picnic adventure…

So what do you get in your Paul Bakery picnic?

  • A choice from the counter of 2 fresh sandwiches or salads (or one of each)
  • 2 packets of crisps (from the selection available)
  • 2 drinks (from the selection available)
  • A choice of 2 desserts from the counter (you pick)
  • You pay extra for a Paul Bakery cool bag, if not they just pack it in a carrier bag for you

Paul Bakery Picnic Review

So what did we pick for our feast? Well we decided to pick the Pavot Poulet Sandwich (chicken salad) as well as the Montagnard Sanwich (mixed meats). Slicing them in half to share, because sharing is caring! Cheesy crisps (coz cheese!) As well as Apple Tart and a large Pistachio Macaron for our desserts. We also were sneaky and provided our own quiche and sliced meat for our picnic. Dr W was super hungry and fancied some extra nibbles! Overall it was a very tasty feast indeed.

We had a great time indoor picnic-ing. The freshly made sandwiches were delicious, I couldn’t fault the quality. Whilst I’m not usually a macaron fan, I really enjoyed this one. We’re off on our hols next week, if we get some good weather maybe we’ll manage to get a picnic outside this time, who knows?!

Are you a fan of the humble picnic? Would you pick up a picnic to go? Let me know in the comments,

I’ve never even considered having an indoor picnic, but it sounds great – especially if it involves dessert! They shouldn’t be restricted to sunny weather.

It was so much fun! Dessert was definitely essential 🙂

It really is delicious! I may or may not have visited since to pick up more baked goods!

This is a great idea! I’d never noticed Paul’s until I went to Prague earlier this year and we had it for lunch every day for a week. Their sandwiches are really good!

The sandwiches were seriously tasty! I’d only ever tried their sweet treats before now.

I love Paul but had no idea that they offered this service. So tempting for a late Summer picnic!

Now the food here looks amazing. I love the idea of a picnic but the weather in the UK isn’t always the best so an indoor picnic it is! I love macarons too

So cute!! Also, me and Tom always get one of something different and cut it in half so we both get a taste as well. Genius move.

We always share our food that way! Sharing is caring right? 🙂
