See the Stars with Matalan | OOTD

November 23, 2016

We’re getting to that time of year where Christmas is happening all around us. And you know what? I’m embracing it… Slowly. I started with my brand new Matalan Christmas jumper.

The Matalan Star Print Christmas jumper isn’t that Christmassy and that’s the beauty of it. I’ve admittedly worn it quite a lot, it’s become a bit of an AW16 favourite for me.

Although I must admit, when I first received it we still had crazily warm weather. I’m very much a winter person so I was quite excited when I could wear it without boiling to death. When it is cold though, it’s the perfect thickness to go underneath a coat.

Quilted Jacket – Barbour

Star Print Christmas Jumper – Matalan

Tartan Snood – New Look

Black Jeans – M&S

Shoes – Converse

Handbag – Nica

At the weekend we headed out for a walk around our local woods. Before we headed home we found ourselves warming up with a hot chocolate in our local countryside centre cafe. This was the perfect outfit for the weekend- casual, comfy and warm! Plus the stars sparkle, which is totally awesome.

I also wore it at a more festive affair, the Winter feast at River Cottage. I did get quite a few compliments for my sparkly jumper! It passed off quite well at a more Christmassy event. It also kept me toasty warm when we were wandering around the grounds.

When it comes to the day itself I might just have to wear one that screams a it more Christmas, and Matalan have some more Christmas jumpers too! Are you a Christmas Jumper fan? What do you think of the Matalan range? Which would you choose? Let me know in the comments,

P.S. Thank you Matalan for my Christmas jumper, which I received for this post. As usual photos and words my own.

Most definitely and Christmas jewellery closely follows!

I agree that a Christmas jumper that is not so Christmas-y is definitely my kind of style (so you can wear it more often!) I used to have a crazy Christmas jumper from Ryan Vintage in town but ended up getting rid of it in my minimalisation process. I don’t think I’ll be getting another either – although, I could be swayed by yours as it is very pretty 🙂

I do have a pretty crazy jumper too that I will be wearing closer to the time 🙂

That is such a cute jumper, and it’s not specifically Christmas themed either so you can wear it more often. I really love the colour of the New Look snood too!

I want another snood I think 🙂 They had all sorts of colours in the store!

So far I own zero Christmas jumpers but I will be getting one this year for sure.

That’s such a cute jumper. I like subtle so this would be perfect for me.
