How I’m Getting Cosy this Autumn…

October 24, 2018

There’s nothing quite like settling down with a brew and a good book is there? After ending up a bit skint after our Switzerland holiday (totally worth it). I have been enjoying a few more nights in than usual.

To be honest, with the change in the weather, it’s not much of an inconvenience! As we have our lovely (not so new now) corner sofa, it’s started to make the lounge feel a lot like home. I like to cosy up in the corner (yes future house guests, that corner is mine) with a brew and something to read. I must admit recently it’s been recipe books as I’m trying to cook at least one new dish a week at the moment. (Although thanks to Sarah I have plenty of Roald Dahl books to get through as well!)

We’ve also sorted out the bedroom, and I know most people moan about TVs in the bedroom. But, when you’re poorly sick or having a super lazy day, sometimes you just want to watch TV in bed. I’ve recently invested in the Disney Life app, which basically means unlimited Disney. I wasn’t feeling too great the other week and it was a bit of a luxury to chill out watching old Disney films in bed.

So aside from being wrapped in a cosy duvet in front of the telly or with a good book, a cup of tea is an essential addition to cosy nights in. The lovely team at Adadgio Teas* have set me up wonderfully for autumn, sending me a huge range of their tea to try. I must admit though, my favourite so far is the Assam Melody. But the Pumpkin Spice is something that is becoming a firm favourite with the run up to Halloween. I’ve never been a flavoured tea fan before, but Adagio Teas are starting to change my thinking/liking!

So how are you getting cosy this autumn? Do you enjoy a good brew? Let me know in the comments,

I’ve heard good things about Adadgio Teas before, although I’ve never tried any. I’m not really a tea or coffee drinker but I always feel like I’m missing out in autumn/winter. Snuggling up with a book and a hot drink seems like perfection!

Fine tea and a good film sounds like a near perfect combination to me.

I absolutely love tea, but have never tried Adadgio teas – definitely going to be trying it now though.

They’re really lovely loose leaf teas! I’d recommend checking them out.

Adadgio Teas are so great. I have approximately a million of their fandom themed ones.

I have a whole drawer full now, I’ll be drinking tea forever (it’s a good thing I love tea!)
