We’re coming to the end of British Sandwich Week and my last post about sandwiches! Today is my Snowdonia Red Devil Cheese, Ham and Tomato Sandwich.
I love spicy cheese, so I wanted to bring out the flavour of it rather than dampening it down. So I went with ham and tomato. Veggies again, go for your favourite meat substitute. I should add, whilst the Snowdonia Red Devil Cheese is spicy. It’s not too hot, so even if you’re faint heated a bit of mayo would dampen it down.
The Snowdonia Red Devil is an award winning cheese, winning gold at the Nantwich International Cheese Awards. Which I went to quite a few years ago! But it’s well worth a visit if you can make it. You can try a ridiculous amount of cheese and every year we visited we always took home loads of cheese with us.

This sounds incredible!! I’m definitely going to have to make this to get over my holiday blues!
It was absolutely delicious! It would definitely cheer you up 🙂
Oooo this looks right up Ry’s street, he likes the mexicana spicy cheese but I don’t think he’s ever had this. I must also say you’ve got your filling to bread ratio spot on. Can’t be dealing with flat sandwiches!!
In total agreement, sandwiches are meant to have filling!
I love Snowdonia Cheese but never tried the Red Devil Cheese before. I will look out for this cheese the next time when I am out cheese hunting.
You must give it a go! It’s super tasty 🙂
Oh my word how did I not know British sandwich week was a thing?! Love a good sandwich – especially if there is cheese involved.
It was new to me last year! I’m glad I discovered it 🙂
